Introduction to Anger Management (Required)

Before beginning your assigned anger management program, all students complete this essential introductory course. Here, you’ll learn the foundations that will support your success throughout your program—starting with mastering the anger log, a tool you’ll use consistently to track triggers, thoughts, physical responses, and outcomes. The anger log is the lens through which you’ll begin to see your own patterns clearly, often for the first time.

You’ll also complete the CAAAP-56, the short-form version of the Comprehensive Anger Assessment and Analysis Profile. This assessment identifies your unique anger profile across seven distinct domains, revealing not just that you have anger issues (you probably already knew that), but where specifically your challenges lie. Are you a slow-burn resentment holder? Do you explode and then feel immediate regret? Is your anger turned inward or outward? The CAAAP-56 answers these questions and more.

Your assessment results directly shape the curriculum you’ll receive in your 8-week, 26-week, or 52-week program. This is what sets The Anger Management Educational Resource apart: we don’t give everyone the same cookie-cutter curriculum.  Your curriculum is driven by the outcomes of your assessment.  We find out who you are first, then teach you what you need to learn.
